Wearing this in tribute to and in memory of John Bentley aka TigerUK who passed away Thursday morning. For those familiar with the SCWF and the TZ-UK forums, John was pretty much the to go to guy on all things Seiko. Aside from watch making skills, John was also an experienced machinist who crafted what is known as the TST. He machined shrouds to give SKX cases that Tuna can aesthetic. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, John
The cell in the Accutron I鈥檝e been wearing, cratered today. Time for a change. With the train show (watch) exhibit we are preparing for in just over one week, time to break out my Rodania 955 Railroader for wear, until it gets put into our exhibit next week end.
Awww. It's going to feel right at home among the other horological treasures.
Enjoy wearing a true tool watch legend for the week!
In response to your odd reply. A new cell, later today will solve that problem! At the present moment, I have 36 running Accutrons, Accuquartz, Hamiltons, and a Bulova Computron running in my vault.
