It would be nice to have a reissued steel manual wind with similar dial and hands, yes. But only if <39 mm IMO. It's funny, though...I'm sure Omega would price such a watch at least twice what an original is worth.

Glad I can finaly post a true timepiece in here! Just got it today too! First real watch I've owned (highschool graduation present from my parents) and it had to be a speedy!!

Since I had to break out the Apollo 8 Missions watch for another thread I might as well wear it for the rest of the day. Nothing better than the first crew around the moon on Christmas Eve 1968. Of course if has to be on the JB Champion with the new calendar.

It's missing a few parts - including the movement. And the engraving is rather crude but should remove easily. The Timely calendar alone is worth a few $$ though. Overall, has some potential as a project watch if the price was right. 😉
