A retirement gift to myself. I'd been looking for a 38mm diver with 20mm lug width and this one fit the bill perfectly. The massively domed acrylic crystal was a big bonus, as well as drilled lug holes. And...Yema was holding a fire sale, got it for $500, including steel bracelet with dive extension.

I bought a white dial Seamaster 300m a couple years ago to be a summer watch (versus my Speedmaster), since we’re on the boat most of the time, but I’ve been wearing my Hamilton Field Mechanical on the stock bracelet every day for over a month. Anything else now feels too big, heavy, and ostentatious. I switched to a leather strap (by Uncle Straps) a couple days ago when the heatwave broke here in southern New England.

I was brought up with Hamilton watches and I love them. I’m now eyeing a Khaki King. 🤔
