I thought I'd wear something special on my last day as a working Professional 馃榾
It's been 43 years since my first day on the job, and I can still remember my first assignment that day. Since then, I've lived and worked in Mexico, Colombia, Indonesia, and Canada, before finally settling down in the middle of wine country in northern California. With five children, seven grandchildren, and two furry kids, we've got lots to do in this new phase of our lives.
Today, I'm wearing my vintage military-issued Blancpain that was worn by my grandfather in the Vietnam war. He had over 300 confirmed kills while wearing this. The tritium lume aged uniformly to a nice tan color.
The last pic is of my grandfather.
