·Am up a bit late, was in bed but had to get up to empty my cars radiator!
Had shifted the car from the garage earlier today as I needed some space in the house and moved what had been inside the house to the garage, all well and fine but had a thought as I was drifting off to sleep that it was winter and winter means frost and potentially a cracked car block as the vintage car had no antifreeze in it.
Sure enough there was ice forming outside and at least -2 degrees Celsius predicted overnight so I had to drain the car block and radiator pronto! Luckily Mr Austin provided an easy to access drain plug.
So off to bed now to hopefully soundly sleep, cracked block averted.

Since then, I've lived and worked in Mexico, Colombia, Indonesia, and Canada, before finally settling down in the middle of wine country in northern California. With five children, seven grandchildren, and two furry kids, we've got lots to do in this new phase of our lives.

·Today, I'm wearing my vintage military-issued Blancpain that was worn by my grandfather in the Vietnam war. He had over 300 confirmed kills while wearing this. The tritium lume aged uniformly to a nice tan color.
