Every so often we have some nice volunteers come by and cook some quality food for for the residents. It’s nice going home without a stomach ache from the standard fare

I'm a little slow today, so the Turtle seems to be the appropriate choice.

First day of retirement...

1) Slept until 7:30am (my work days used to begin at 5am)
2) Took one of the dogs on a favourite hike

3) Celebrated Speedy Tuesday, non-Professional style 😀

A morning photo taken before leaving our driveway for a trip up to Fort Worth, Texas today and a visit to The Watch Preserve. https://thewatchpreserve.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoqK8FHaDaTgVo027juwWvqcRS8yKY-khFmP_O1qtjQTk1ZHcwIh.

I took along a Hamilton 992 to be serviced so it could be given to a friend. While there I perused the ever burgeoning inventory on hand, which is more than is found on their web site. More inventory on hand at present along with more nice high end vintage brands were seen and enjoyed. Enjoyed visiting the friendly and helpful staff as well as with owner Nic Libby, who is a busy fellow these days. Vintage watches are being good to him and for that I am glad.

It's a big 'un! I am unfamiliar with the brand of this hugely oversized display movement. Nic told me a couple years back, but I have forgotten.
