Sundowners with the new arrival😊 1997 getting close to the last of the tritium which is just starting to age nicely.

One of the main attractions was also the beautiful aging of the bezel which in certain lights has a very definite blue hue. I didn’t think the bracelet did the bezel justice which meant swapping the band with the 14060 and a different strap on the 14060.

Which then sidetracked me onto the “United Colours of Barking”😊

My 60-year old Accutron 214 survivor. Thanks to @Laneside of Scotland. I doubt this watch had been worn for more than a year or two in its past. Possibly had problems that were never solved, resulting in possibly having been retired to a sock drawer. Solution was a refurbished Accutron 214 movement from my stash. Gold shell over stainless steel case. My 24th “hummer”. Probably my most accurate non-quartz watch. Love it!

Had my day canceled so instead a walk with Mrs P.

Saw the neighborhood coyote.

And a little bird eating his freshly caught breakfast.

Watch of the day…remarkably difficult dial/hands to photograph

Never too early for Speedy Tuesday is it? Especially since it’s already Tuesday in Australia!

With a heavy heart, I am selling one of my Speedy today (ad yet to be approved here on ΩF), but I do still have this one, my modern (and beloved) 321.
