This today just back from full extensive service with a myriad of new OEM parts restored to it.
New balance and balance bridge, new correct titoni rotor weight, most screws replaced and a couple he had to manufacture, he just wanted it to be 100% right and correct, a mission not a commission. So all back to as it was when it left the factory but still with original dial.

Today's Flieger...

...and today's ride (the little green one)

Every landing I did today was with some form of simulated engine failure...the instructor throttles down the engine to idle and the student flies the aircraft until it almost touches the runway, at which time the engine is brought back to flight RPMs.

Here's a video of the procedure, called Autorotation. The high-pitch whine you hear is the tail rotor, which is driven by the main rotor, which is driven by the air rushing upward through the main rotor blades...generating enough lift to be able to fly the aircraft forward. This is not me flying, just a generic demo video.

Very, very nice! Congrats to you, and to your watchmaker!
