Pocket watch Friday here with a 1920 Illinois 21-jewel Capitol watch with handy pendent set feature and neato "red dot" dial. Going into town to visit with a lady about the old Texas Electric Railway interurban which used to run through here and this seemed a logical choice.

Double pic today. Cops cleared out the drug dealing area today so I went in took some pics. Nice basketball court. Trees and my watch kinda match

Here's wishing you all a happy Saturday from the future! Saturday at the bottom of the South Pacific is looking beautiful... There's almost a summer vibe in the air.

Seiko Monopusher, 5717-8990.
January 1965, which was a bit of a surprise as I thought it was a 70’s watch!
Super comfortable, and I love the silver sunburst dial.

Don’t forget about utilizing almighty flash technologies [don’t worry about utilizing almighty focus technologies]…

LATE ENTRY: Pic edited utilizing almighty black point technologies to make sweat stains “go away” on Metallica workout t-shirt…

The date is correct, but this one is not on my wrist, today. This one spent about 50 years, slumbering in a lozenge tin of Omega bumper parts, all dismantled. Then I discovered the dial in that same tin! Everything was there, with evidence of rust on a few parts, but no case! I resurrected it. I posted it in the message board, mentioning I didn’t have a case. Several months later, @Tritium , a collector from Madrid PMed me that he had an extra NOS steel case! Voila! Here is the result.

Very cool!
