Laco today.

My Laco says Hello. This one is likely from the late 1940s or thereabouts. Lacher & Co. (later Laco) started out with Swiss, movements, but changed to German movements. This one has a German-made Durowe movement in it. You might notice that the movement is marked FOREIGN, rather than Germany. This was in reaction to bitter feelings toward Germany after WWII. Laco were major suppliers to the German military during WWII.

Thanks! This is my first rectangular watch and I really like it. It came with a unique, stingray strap, but I found it too flashy and had a leather strap made instead.
