You've probably answered this question many times before, but I have to ask: does this bike have any kind of brake (other than your legs)?
Yeppers…it has a Dura-Ace 7900 front brake only…please make sure that you pronounce it “der-AHH-chee” to make it sound Italian. 👍

Date night with my beloved (my bride, not the watch.)

Your watch probably keeps better time? 😉

I have a Specialized Langster track bike that is brakeless and another Cinelli fixed gear with full Campy brakes and hardware. Love single speed/fixed gear bikes. They are my other love besides watches.

Funny, I have an almost identical Longines. Does yours have the 22L calibre movement?

Mine is1948 vintage with a 27M movement in its 18kt rose gold case.

Quite similar in appearance our two watches are.

Very cool, sir! 😎

I would really dig having a true track bike like yours. 👍

Although my 2010 Schwinn Sprint has track geometry and Reynolds 853 main tubes, it’s not a true track bike like yours. My Sprint came from Schwinn as a fixed gear but it has pannier mounts as well as bottle cage mounts…and it came with brakes. In 2013 I modified it to a road TT race bike and I raced it on the road as a fixed gear TT bike…

LATE ENTRY: I continue to ride my fixed gear Sprint quite often but not with the Zipp tubulars or aero bars pictured above. I will say that my fixed gear Sprint attracted quite a bit of attention when I showed up with it at road TT races since I was the only one racing a fixed gear TT bike…as well as it being the only Schwinn. I had to study the terrain prior to road TT races and make a “best guess” what the optimal gearing would be…I have the entire set of Dura-Ace track cogs [13, 14, 15, 16] and an incomplete set of Dura-Ace track chain rings from 50 to 55. Most of the time I was running a 50/14 or a 51/14 combo for longer TTs and then a 55/13 for shorter/flatter TTs. Since I’m a masher, I would try to get an average cadence of about 75-80 rpm during a TT. I currently ride it recreationally and on “spirited” group rides in a 50/15 combo with Mavic Open Pro clincher wheels laced up to high flange Dura-Ace track hubs.

Super nice dial. I am sure to add one these Omega f300s to my hoard one day, and a white or silver dial would complement thigs nicely. I should call dibs too.

This from the back of the infrequently-worn sock drawer.

Two photos of the same watch in different light. According to Google, that’s an effect called 'metamerism' although if I’ve got it wrong, I’d be pleased to be told the right word to describe this effect.
