Very drought tolerant, but did not grow so vigorously or bloom profusely without irrigation support where we lived in west central Texas prior to moving 180 miles east in 2021. Here they're more spectacular than fireworks. I regret that I didn't snap a photo of this one a few days ago when it was fully in bloom. It's about "done its do" this morning. "Done its do" is a good Texas colloquialism that my mother used when I was young.
Damn I was supposed to work from home today as I’m still testing positive but I passed out cause I keep getting this temp coming back even though I’m at day 6. Luckily I just got a call from a provider that woke my ass up so I can work for a few hours and hang out with Maharishi and Rocky. The three of us don’t want to go out as it’s to hot they have a fur coat and I’m burning up.
You need to recover from your latest bout with the epizootic and avoid that stuff like the plague! You're needed on deck here for watch and cloud photos and stuff.
I've realized over the past few years, that if I had only one wrist watch, it would be this one. The Astronaut is highly accurate, easy to read, useful with its GMT hand and rotating bezel, and attractive. This one is from 1963.
