I've realized over the past few years, that if I had only one wrist watch, it would be this one. The Astronaut is highly accurate, easy to read, useful with its GMT hand and rotating bezel, and attractive. This one is from 1963.

My daily wearer for the week has been on my wrist since I got it back from service last Saturday - a 1973 Longines Ultra-Chron Ref. 8455 with the 6651 movement (25 jewels, 28.800 bph). Lost three seconds ... in five days. I just didn't set the date yet, because it has no quickset.
