Interesting, you found one identical to mine but a Sporto not a Surf. Does it say Surf on the case back by chance? Such a good looking watch!

Thanks! Yours was my inspiration, and then I pulled the trigger on this one. I think the Surf and Sporto were both sold around the same time, though yours has the newer logo? Somewhere else I read that mine was possibly a Martel design since Zenith didn't like to put the beat rate on the dials. There are just numbers on the back. I was planning to post some questions on the Zenith forum here.

An absolutely stunning day today

I think I have worked out where the scratch on the crystal of Old Red may have come from last week. I suspect the pointy end of my little mates beak might have made contact.

Going to be hard to take this off. Actually, it literally is hard to take it off because the clasp is so tight. 😁 The light plays on this dial in so many awesome ways.
