I've been meaning to ask the Forum: What is the correct terminology describing that "checkerboard-y" looking track around the outside of of this Genève? Speedmaster Racings and some other mid-1960s Omega Seamasters can be found with it.

I've always known it as a chequered ribbon dial and in the Genève's case a direct reference to the chequered b & w finish flag of a race.

Love this combo (but obviously the SS buckle on the Genève)

The symbol for the Church of the Spaghetti Flying Monster has edged it's way into dive watches now- its tentacles are everywhere. Gotta love it. I believe it has now taken control of the illuminati squirrels and weasels.

The bezel isn't perfect but is original DoN so I can live with that. Everything else is as expected and no red flags - the bracelet has all the links thankfully and the original gold spring bars.

Color me envious! This is a grail for sure and a gorgeous piece. Now I’ll have you and @hansmaulwurf to thank for repeatedly making me jealous. Congrats on getting this! It’s definitely a worthy replacement for all the pieces you sold.

Good day all. “Hidden crown” dome dial Constellation reference 168.004 today. IMHO, one of the most underrated Connie references and super comfortable on a BOR bracelet.
