··Not in LA anymore.Last night I watched part of the National Geographic production "Apollo: Missions to the Moon" which apparently inspired me to go with the 'Aldrin Wrap' today, utilizing a Kizzi replica long velcro NASA strap. That film probably has more Speedmaster action per minute than any film out there, including live footage of a technician helping an astronaut don the long velcro strap over the Apollo spacesuit.
I also saw something I'd never noticed before: a white coloured long velcro strap, as seen here on the wrist of Apollo 7 astronaut Walt Cunningham...
...which inspired me to wrap the strap in a slightly different way, which I'll call the "Cunningham" variant. Can you spot the difference between that, and "Aldrin style"?
