New acquisition? What a watch! The oyster case is pure legend. That watch will last forever, with minimal care. Is that 34mm or 36mm? Every collector should have at least (1) oyster.

One of my college roomies was from Iceland and the languages are of course, very similar. Fun to say out loud (especially with my New York accent ...lulzzzz
Goeteborg (AKA Gotenburg, and pronounced something like "Guh-te-bur-ya") is the second largest city in Sweden (and has a spanking symphony orchestra), and Magnusson is a jeweler there (still around AFAIK). The watch dates to 1928 by the movement SN. The back engraving says:
