I think this has appreciated in value quite a bit since you bought it, Kyle!

whoa... this is where I come to escape reality...

I hope she recovers well... I'm not sure if I offended in anyway by my comment, but that surely was the last thing that I would have intended...

feel free to PM with any Medical queries... even if I don't know the answer, I know where to look...

What's up Doc? Sorry to force reality on you. Everything went well. Really I responded because my schedule is to work weekends and have the majority of my weeks off. As far as needing medical advice, I'm good but thank you for the offer. It's really nice of you as well as the thoughts of concern you and other voiced for my daughter in law.

Citizenrich, my prayers are out for your mom; I hope lavender agrees with her, too.

Back to watch related topics; while I was in Boston today I got to visit to European Watch and had a great visit. Really nice people and what a collection of watches.

I was wearing...

but got to look at some nice watches as well.

Tell me about it...was surprised to hear the value of just a plain gilt 1675 with the square crown guards. 😲

This is incredible.

This acquisition resulted from a posting in "Recommended vintage watches on eBay" so I want to think is was vetted by the hard core critics around here 😀

SEIKO UFO 6138-0011 on a very grey and dull Thursday. Big bastard chronograph made in November 1976.

Bought this today:

Pictures don't get my point across very well, but I'm surprised at how many similarities on lugs and dial surface there are with this:

I'd never really though about the two together, but I definitely think one has influenced the other...
