Spinning Dylan's 30 Anniversary CDs this morning.

Well, the ol' Miller & Kreisel V-75 sub-woofer finally laid down on me. Both potentiometers on the back have gone on the fritz. Must have been the cannon in Tchaickovskey's "1812 Overture" we listened to the other day that finished it off. The cannon sounded more like .22 Shorts going off by the time it ended.

Good one B-man. I think it’s cool George picked a kinda “obscure” Dylan song. By that I mean a Dylan fans song not one of the songs that gets much air time. He was probably tighter with bob than most people who played. I always find a Harrison song can make me think and smile.

Sorry about your equipment malfunction. It’s a day of mourning when a faithful piece that gave you music for years turns to scrap but certainly worse tragedy’s have befallen you.

I go down the Harrison rabbit hole often. Recently I heard a recording where he was talking about singing roll over Beethoven with the Beatles. He said he stepped up to the mic and realized he didn’t know what he was doing or how to sing. From those words to all things must pass in such a short period is impressive. I found this 10 minute clip of George talkin about music and such. Seems like he would have been a cool guy to sit down and talk to.

@noelekal if you forward to 14 minutes or there about you may see some tasty accordion
One of the greats for sure! Was a well known regional presence of great repute here in Texas.

Me? I gotta have the keyboard of the piano accordion. I wouldn't know how to play "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" on a button accordion for I've never strapped one on.

Ya it’s like typing to play way too strange. I don’t know, some people can just pick up any instrument and be proficient. Although I’m greatly impressed by them inside I get this jealousy that makes me dislike them. I have worked on that though I’m not as bad as I used to be. Damn them.

This one always gets me feeling alright. For the audiophile out there, I would think this would be a fun one. My cheap (by comparison to an agressive audiophile) Sonos system loves it. Obviously would need a more quality version than YouTube! If anyone tries it on a premium system, I would love to know if my instincts are correct!

I was leaving the lab today (the time lab where we timeologists study nano seconds and other things above most of your heads, I flashed back to this when Randy Bachman, John entwhistle, Billy Preston and others put on a great show.
