·Recently went to see John Lydon on his spoken word tour ( I could be wrong I could be right )of the UK as a gift from Mrs CPR & had the “meet and greet” option . So I finally had the chance to meet the man ( & myth ) or Johnny rotten from his Sex pistols days ,& I know he is marmite figure to many ( love him or hate him ) but I’m a marmite lover & couldn’t wait to meet him . After queuing up my time came to meet the great man & he wasn’t a disappointment and got to sit with him for some photo opportunities ( he also signed my PIL ALBUM ) . It was a great evening and he gave quite a personal insight into his life story including some touching stories about his lovely wife Nora who sadly passed away .
That must been a great experience! 👍
I have always loved the music, but I became a total fanboy when I saw the various film he has been in. The Christmas special and the more political stuff. But when I how loyal he was to his wife and friend, I just got all mushy inside.
