Always listen to "Smooth Extra" web radio when surfing the net.

This arrived the other day, still sealed and in great condition from 1965. Its title is "We Dig Mancini" but that bit's under the 99c sticker. They're so smooooooooth. However, even they can't make me like "Moon River."

I haven't determined the watch on Louis' wrist.

Obscure vinyl, very '60s-sounding orchestrated jazz, by J. J. Johnson, one of my favorites

It's Living Stereo - I'd probably love it!

I noticed that a CD was issued in Spain over a decade ago, but is now OOP. Copies on Amazon go for $150 and up! I'm happy with vinyl and a digital transfer with light declicking....The album in mp3 format is available from Amazon for much less of course, but I'm not always happy with their sampling rate.

I'll see you that J. J. Johnson and raise you these, if you like trombone music:

Just finished listening to it -- clocks in at just under 30 minutes, for one of the shortest 12-inch LPs in my collection!

I liked the "How Insensitive" and "Agua de Beber" samples. The stereo field sounds great.

IMHO the most hilarious ever piece of instrumental music. Always good if you need lifting out of a low moment. PMSL every time.

It's late so we're winding down with Corelli's Concerti Grossi Op. 6.

Not music atm, but a spoken book. Salt of the Earth by Jack Olsen and narrated by Kevin Pierce. Must be close to a dozen of these Audible books to date I've listened to written by Olsen and narrated by Pierce

Wait. I did listen to the late Stevie Wright (The Easybeats) sing Evie again for the umpteenth time this year..
