Today I listened to a lot of classical music from these three Mercury Living Presence box sets. Debussy's La Mer, Saint-Saens' Symphony 3 (the organ one), Sibelius' Symphony 2, and a hodge-podge of other things.

I'll just leave this here. Some nice hot weather bluesy, jazzy, funk circa 1969. If this does not get your groove on then your dead inside.
Very cool on a hot evening. Made me think of Booker T's Green Onions

But since this is a watch forum I keep coming back to the Van Halen song "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" and that line "you may have all you want baby but I got somethin' you need" aka that dammned Omega that I still didn't get my mitts on yet.

Lots of Fritz Kreisler lately. He was one of the most famous violinists in the pre-1950 era (besides Heifetz and Szigeti). Mendelssohn and Brahms concerti (recorded in 1926 and 1937), Grieg Sonata No.3 with Rachmaninnoff (1929), and bon-bons of his own composition recorded toward the end of his career, in 1942.

A bit pissed off today. This makes me relax::rimshot::
Never heard of 'em, but hell yeh. Pretty much any Metallica will also do if you're in this sort of mood. Or you're just facing irritating bureaucracy then how about another Van Halen gem: "Fools"?

One or two VH albums is always on my playlist. Actually I was listening to F.U.C.K. while I was driving home from work today.

For some unknown reason I've been really digging The Mamas and The Papas lately. I have their digibook box set you can see at 0:21 and 2:49 in this video. The video's not so hot but the song speaks to me.
