"Someone took an Alvin & The Chimpmunks album of cover tunes from the late 1980's and slowed it down immensely and holy mother God it sounds like a hardcore postpunk masterpiece. Not kidding, not one bit. This would've influenced everyone back then."
I clicked on it just out of curiosity, but honestly a couple of the tracks are pretty cool...very dark...Call Me, Walk Like an Egyptian, and My Sharona are my faves...

·Fellow OF member just reached out to me kindly suggesting a particular record. It just happens to include songs from Koko Taylor and Willie Dixon. Instantly I was compelled to hear them together. Pure greatness, amazing stuff

·Dude I am not even that much of a chili peppers fan but they are definitely talented and put out some good stuff but your job really makes mine look worse. Is Dylan or Ringo playing your place? I will pay to be your friend for a few hours and I can sit very quietly keeping out of everyone’s way, I don’t take up much space if I keep my gut sucked in.

·Hey, you're already my friend and you don't even have to keep your gut sucked in. And really " the grass is always greener on the other side" I've never, that I can remember, done a show with Ringo but did do Bobby's latest here a little while ago. I think maybe December? It wasn't bad at all.

·Damn I bought the video and the disk for this show. I remember the big deal it was and how it “brought the Russian people together.” Damn how quickly the world changes
