Recent arrivals: School of Seven Bells' "SVIIB" and Winterpills' "Love Songs". Still enjoying Jane Siberry's "Ulysses' Purse" and am looking forward to The Nields' 25th anniversary album in June and Lera Lynn's album "Resistor" coming out sometime soonish, but I forget when. I'll get it when it comes out thanks to Kickstarter.
Sass Jordan...lot of her early stuff was very pop oriented, but the latter is much more raw and powerful in her vocals...this one singing about struggles with addiction... Highly recommend some volume on this one...
Back in ancient times, I bought two Joe Satriani CDs... before I found the song I wanted ("Cliffs of Dover") on an Eric Johnson album!
I'm listening to Alexandre Dubach's classic interpretations. He was our violinist on our wedding and became a friend, which is one of many reasons why his music touches my heart. Btw: he's the only Swiss Violonist who has played all violin concertos by Paganini. Here are some songs I love listening to: Vitali, Chaconne Pablo de Sarasate - Romanza Andaluza Niccolò Paganini, Campanella
PS: Speaking of vintage... Alexandre Dubach is playing on a big-a vintage violin - it's one of Nicola Gagliano from 1727!
Ok, so not the cool or fun thing everyone else listens to, but I'm stuck listening to another late evening global conference call with VP's...
