Thought we would try something different today. Stout blended with brandy and chocolate.
Really surprised by how smooth and enjoyable it was.

I am totally seeking that out. (Not "sourcing" it though - that would be too expensive)

Shiner Bock. A very Texas beer. And one that is not the color of urine. I like my beer either as black as a SM Deep Black, or no lighter than Sedna Gold!

On the road at just after 4am, hunting for wine for work again...
14 hours later enjoying a quiet red... decent, good fruit and texture, a little bitterness and some chalky tannins... sadly no fava beans, did find a nice gorgonzola dolce though

Hmmm...I was always told not to mix drinks but I started on beer, but then we had a bottle of champagne, then had a couple of pints of cider, then a gin & tonic and finished on vodka.
