^ I've heard good things! Auchentoshan is also very fun to say. Auchentoshan. Rolls off the tongue. Corpse Reviver #2 for me earlier. Equal parts gin, lillet, Cointreau, and fresh lemon, with a dash of absinthe. Orange peel for garnish.
I'd qualify this one as the entry-level/introduction/baby steps to peat! ...and this is where I plan to stay!
Unfortunately I'm out of limes and I couldn't be bothered to go to the grocery store just for that. However I do have a picture of a good one I made over the summer to commemorate the occasion! Last bottle of this from my cellar, subdued on opening, was very good when fully open but peaked about 25 min after opening ... probably meeded to be opened about 5 years ago
15 months sober. How else would I afford my watch collection??!! Actually got my Tudor Black Bay as a 1 year of sobriety gift to myself....and probably still didn't spend as much as I did boozing each year.
