Wow, I did a double take on that. I haven't seen the old style Canadian flag since the last time I was in Victoria, BC, which must be 30 years ago. I didn't see it once on our road trip up to Yellowknife four years ago.
Rib eye roast at my brother's house, so I brought: 2007 Comte de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny 1ere Cru 2009 Drouhin Volnay ..... and a Riesling I totally forget because the women polished it off. Is it coincidence that VRF forum members have initials for screen names? Similar letters too! ( )
Oooooo, a Monte Rosso Zin from Dick Arrowood! How was it? Was there much sediment yet? (since it's unfined & unfiltered)
Everything I love about a great old vine zin. More sediment than I thought there'd be. Glad I bought a few to see how they age.
Arrowood almost always bottled unfined & unfiltered so you usually got some sediment. I prefer it that way since the wine seems to age better. A little more care is needed when you open (decant & maybe even run through a coffee filter).
