Although from different vintners, was the fruit more developed in the '97 than the '11?
Maybe the fact that they were from two different wineries, made the difference?

The traditional post-move / new-apartment shower beer! Sorely needed, too.

Just returned from Vegas and the first day went to the pool bar and asked what beers they had. Girl behind the bar reeled off about 10 beers plus something called an America. Never hear of it so I said I'll have one of them. When it turned up I said thats a Budweiser and she goes it's called America now. Still don't know if she was winding me up or not?

Think someone took the marketing stunt a bit too seriously.

My sincerest condolences on having to drink a regular Budweiser (or "Bud Heavy") - happened to me once when I didn't understand a waitress' pronunciation. Nasty stuff 🤮

Nothin' quite like that Beechwood flavor Bud 🤮
Hard to believe that at one time, Budweiser alone, represented 51% of all beer sold worldwide 🙁

Not today but dropped into a restaurant last Friday to get some food, and had one of these for the first time in years...

I don't drink much in the way of pop, but this brings back memories of the only thing I could afford to buy when I moved away to go to school back in the 80's...found that this was the cheapest thing at the local store, so bought a bottle, and fell in love with it.
