Now, many years later things have changed... I have gotten back into cafe racers and I have a genuine @DaveK lanyard to make it go even faster.

i can鈥檛 wait for the nice man in the panda car to give me next progress report!
@Fritz and @Canuck , You guys are funny. I have had a rotten day with vaccine side effects. Just rotten. But starting to feel human again so thanks for the chuckle 馃憤

The vaccine really isn鈥檛 as bad as people say.

i have this nifty new fin on my back to show for it and it appears my wife has a fine pair of flippers coming in.

Thanks - but I can鈥檛 take any credit for that, it was all Mrs K... the lomo and truffle pecorino were quite astonishingly good and highly recommended!

Chateau Dubourg St Emillion. First time we have tried this wine - smooth and aromatic.
I am no expert but might keep a couple of these to see how the 2015 vintage develops.

Vodka tonic...

Made with this:

It's made with a leftover type of dairy sugar that is called milk permeate, that is left from processing milk into things like butter, cheese, and other products. Triple distilled, and this is the only distillery to be doing this (according to the makers), so it's a pretty unique product. They have turned a waste product into a very tasty vodka!

Drank straight, it tastes a little sweet, with a hint of vanilla. I almost hated using it in the mixed drink to be honest, it was that good!
