Just picked up another bottle of Hampden from Habitation Velier. I wish half of the whiskey industry was as forthcoming about what’s in the bottle as HV is.

Admiral Nelson HMS Victory Ale - I see no shleps…. In fact it is all a bit blurred after a few of these. Nice hoppy flavour with some bite... It has improved my photography... I must be a bit of a P-artist :0)

you have an unfair advantage... I live by the top end of the lake and so get little snow.

Good God, Al, I laughed my coffee onto the table after seeing this. Always with the ingenuity, eh? It’s moments like this that have me pining for nature’s beer cooler. I miss the snow. Mostly.

Here on the West Coast, the mild (and yes, wet) winters means beverage chilling isn’t nearly as inventive.
