Chalk n Cheese for this evenings tipple, Champagne is definitely not a drink I enjoy, but Mrs CPR loves it . But it doesn’t matter really , as long as your drinking something you enjoy tonight.
a red blend from Tuscany, I went in with higher expectations from this IGT but it turned out as an average red.. well, sometimes you win and other times you just miss the mark .
I have a bad news related to my contribution to this lovely thread (one of my fav, as the Boxer one)... I want to try doing a "Dry January" :-(
Scorching today in South Africa, so broke out a wit beer for relief. Bone Crusher (admittedly an odd name for an unfiltered wheat beer) from Darling Brew, which is one of the better micro-breweries in SA.
From a few days ago, just after Christmas: Having Amarettu with the family (it goes also into the dessert next to it during it's preparation). Wishing everyone well!
One last bottle of wine to share/enjoy with the family before leaving behind the great weather of the Golden State this Tuscan red blend 80/20% Savignone/Syrah turned out to be much nicer than the previous one @Foo2rama we'll catch with you on our next trip to sunny California! Cheers!
The problem is that... water is still 100% water :-( ... But I see and agree to your point if you add flavour to the mix. Then the combined ratio for taste and hydrating levels surely changes the dynamics
Interesting single varietal red from South African wine-making behemoth KWV (interestingly, the branding on this line of wines changed this year to de-emphasize that KWV is the producer -- that information is in almost microscopic writing on the rear label). Quite good now, but young. Will be excellent in a few more years.
