The Mother City is indeed a wonderful place.
Pertinent to this thread, South Africa just yesterday reinstated (for a third time) a nation-wide ban on alcohol sales due to spiking COVID-19 infections. Had an inkling the ban was coming and stocked up well in advance.

And forbidden to go to the beaches too. Have a friend there, and they planned ahead and bought 100 bottles of wine 馃榾

It really does. I visited a winery, Nutbourne, in Southern England last summer and tasted a few there and bought some bottles. It was superb. Unfortunately we weren鈥檛 able to visit Nyetimber, which is located nearby.
