Well hell if this doesn’t work way better than I thought it would... in the sense that, I thought it would be a wild bit of fun - but instead it just flat out works Yep this is a gin aged in super peaty Caol Ila casks. The earthy peat just... works... with the botanical flavors of the gin. I suppose it makes sense on some level but even so I can’t even describe it
Since we couldn't get together with the group we normally do on Xmas eve, they swung by with a box of supplies so we could recreate our GTG the best we could on Zoom. So last night we made Martini's using the new gin they dropped off as part of that package: Made with botanicals found in Canada's North...and in Martini form: Was pretty good - had a few and feeling the effects of that today!
