Things that make you go....Huh?

I suppose I can see this appealing to some, but as was noted in another forum where I first saw this posted, even the actors looked a little puzzled...

Maybe something astronauts can include in their meal plans when in outer space 😎

I don't drink spirits nowadays but when a cold has hung around for this long they're the only thing that will kill it...it was either a whisky mac or a brandy and lovage - tried both and unsurprisingly I feel better already!

And whilst digging around trying to find the above ingredients I found this bottle left over from my scotch drinking days...1979 Port Ellen! Must finish it one day 😀

It’s strange but it is also a bit fun. I would like to try them one day.

I’m normally a single pot still man but enjoyed a dram of Suntory Toki last night. Easy drinking, smooth, fruity and good value.

Patiently waiting for a bottle of the 2019 release Midleton Very Rare to arrive

A bunch of stuff I tried at Vinitaly, Prowein and in Italy in March have finally arrived...

Tiny organic Barbera and Barbaresco from a couple of producers, primitivo, Negro and Malvasi from Nardo and a stunning Valpolicella/ripasso/Amarone producer... tried them all again today ... and chuffed...

Thinking,it will be a pleasure enjoying this old bottle...cheers!
Thinking not.

it appears to have lost a lot via angel share so a lot of oxidation and alcohol. But good luck!

And IMO it was never that good to begin with. Not a rye fan myself...yes very un-Canadian of me, but it's gross.

Ok...then I will try one of those two bottle,tonight...again,cheers!
Again good luck. The fill line shows a lot of loss and consequently oxidation and lower alcohol.

20-40 year old unopened bottles are rarely still good unless stored correctly which is different then wine.

also a 20 year old bottle of a 12 year old scotch is still just a 12 year old scotch. Not a 32 year old as they don’t age if stored correctly. They just slowly die.
