A Pittsburgh micro distillery made whisky from local left over Marzen Octoberfest beer. With a German Watch on the first day of Octoberfest. After getting home from a local German Club celebrating Octoberfest.
Unique Scotch here, Island of Mull. As I haven’t developed a taste for peat, I thought I’d try it as it’s not peated like typical Islays. It’s the most unique Scotch I have. 46.3%, but zero fire to it, and a very light straw gold color. I would say it’s very complex, but only as I can’t figure it out. The nose has peat and blue cheese, but doesn’t taste that way at all. I busted out the Lag 16 to compare it.
enjoying the few remaining ounces on this bottle .. just realized a supply run must be scheduled soon! Happy Sunday to our fellow Single Malt and Omega aficionados!
I had this amazing bottle of water with lunch today. It didn't have a brand. But it was very refreshing nonetheless. Have a great day!
came across a new label today...not bad, but nothing exceptional.. the oysters however were the highlight of the happy hour.. the work week is over!
Great day for my Scotch collection, my 19 yr came in. 19 has been a hard number to find, and I was missing only this number out of my 10-23 yr age statement Scotches. I found it on finedrams and the owner shipped it to me under “glass ware” to pass US customs . Anyway, here to my first poor of a 19 yr.
