We are having a rash of hot weather around here so I decided to try something a bit refreshing - I gathered the required hardware and ingredients to test drive a Blackberry Bourbon Smash recipe... IMO, it sure is refreshing and the recipe was also a hit! cheers & happy Friday!

we are here to help 😁 I substituted honey w/Demerara syrup and Ginger beer with Club soda... turned out pretty good!

Fortunately, I have both club soda and ginger beer right here (honey, but no Demerara)....so, perhaps a comparo is in order. Then again, will the wife approve of a taste test before we drive to NYC, in about 20 minutes? Delaying gratification until tomorrow might be the better part of valor. We are dining at Buddakan tonight with friends in from France. I will raise a glass or two to your good health and inspired mixology!

Not sure where you are at but Davidson Liquor in Highlands Ranch Colorado usually has a few of those bottles laying around. For some reason that store just doesn't move any of the Japanese Scotch.
