Happy Friday all! Found this while driving through West Virginia. Surprisingly smooth and well balanced...like the Sm300 Big Triangle 😁

If you drink enough bourbon before, you WILL like Islay peat! 😀

Um, make mine a Bourbon....neat.

Have any forum members in Poland tried the new beer mentioned in the linked article?

Several of my fellow sailors are Polish and I have had the pleasure of gaining their insights into good Polish beer over the years. Plus several visits and not a bad brew to be had...This seems a bit mean spirited.

No mean spiritness intended, my apologies if my post was taken that way. That the beer is Polish is, to me, irrelevant. I asked if any Polish forum members had tried the beer because I don't believe the beer is available outside of Poland at this time. I agree with you, I have never had a bad Polish beer.

Saw that stuff a while ago - can't say I'm too interested in drinking it...

Having a background in marketing, I would be interested in seeing the marketing research that suggested that this product was a "good idea".

decided to try this one after sampling its low grade brother the other day on a United flight - which by the way was not bad at all for a freeby on an international flight. No surprise here, the 25 y/o is a much smoother and favor-rich variant.

😀

Major score in some small town store. Just bought this, it’s never available. This guy had alot of good stuff, says people never buy it and he can’t keep “fireball” in stock haha. I scored a bottle of Blantons too.

Wow. Almost the equivalent of finding a brand new steel Rolex GMT BLRO in a shop that mostly sells G-shocks lol.

If it were me, I'd be completely torn between wanting to try it, and maybe hanging onto it for a bit before seeing what I could get for it resale.... I mean, how many nice bottles of 15 / 16 Scotches could you buy for what that's likely going to be fetching in a year or so?

I know, I’ve thought the same. I may not open.

I was thinking of going back actually. He had several nice rare bottles “in the back” and I think he’ll be happy to move them out. The drive is about an hr away.
