Oh..... now that I think of it, my uncle had one of those limited edition "Alexander the Great" prototype watches.

Suppose we're seeing why he was known as "the great"?

I know it's a redial but the seller claims it's a pie pan, which it isn't. Does that make it a faked pie pan and worthy of reporting? Or is a mention to the seller enough, assuming they correct the listing?
"It is featured here with the famed Pie Pan dial w/ beautiful golden arrowed index markers and hands...This very correct example was either exceptionally well cared for or stored for a very long period of time." http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-OMEGA-...n-18K-G-P-354-Automatic-Bumper-/191830221131?Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Fantastic polish job though, I bet he actually changes his wheels and compounds to get such a shiny finish.
He shouldn't have let his five year old do the dial though.

The dealer said he would correct the listing to address the issues.

This watch is actually a piece of the official omega collection, shown at the omega museum in Biel/Bienne!

Well, he removed the Pie Pan reference but doesn't mention the refinished dial. So much for his integrity.
