This snoopy franken already has bids worth more than it should be, I really wonder if the bidders are even reading the ad correctly, Watchco were dumping these dials for like $250-400 at one point and had a lot of them…

https://www.ebay.com/itm/144327354358?hash=item219a94a7f6:g:9-cAAOSweSlhs47r&LH_Auction=1

Indeed - someone way over-paid. Bidding ended above $8K USD. Aside from being franken it didn't even function properly...

"...it requires a service as it has been serviced 7 years ago when the Dial was exchanged with a Snoopy Dial and the chronograph doesn't function as it should. "

Does this one qualify!? 😗

I understand it is limited to 69 pieces, the box is signed, supposedly, by Buzz Aldrin, and has been “well loved”… but North of $111,000!?!? 😵‍💫😲

“Autobahn Gold”.
Fake as a three-dollar-bill. Very common crap from the 60s and 70s.

The prices on everything have gone nuts. None of us are any richer because our watches are worth more. Because it also costs more to buy the ones we want. If prices for all watches went back to 1999-2003, we'd all be happier and everyone who loves watches would be having just as much fun.

No one is any richer because their watches are worth more because y'all aren't selling them.
