How about this one — super cool watch but that price is far and away crazy

If the RAF watch is official and has markings on the back the prove its identity, then the price is about its service history, not just that model watch. Much like Military Subs. If they have the right markings, the prices are through the roof, even though it is just another Sub.

In my opinion, these are rare watches however even with the correct markings and history 10g is well above established history for top tiered comparable pieces.

It’s just a badly overpriced watch, and in a cooling watch market no less.

This keeps coming up in my recently viewed or search selections.

I am sure my lemania 105 triple dial movement would look great in it. If not that I have a rusty Heuer dial, partial case, and movement that would look even better.

This however was the auction I won. (for the landeron 48 I call the goat movement.)

This is simply ludicrous...unless he achieves it and then what??? 😁 Man, some people...🙄

ps. why the 480? I guess that does look a little more attractive than $150,500

Their authenticators suck. A 168.028 would be a chronometer and it would be written on the dial. The end links don't fit correctly. And the price....well that's the point of this thread LOL

The end links don't fit correctly.

No surprise there, they must’ve been filed down to fit the 19mm lugs of the 166.032.

I think they my be intentionally confusing the chrono and non chrono versions as many had dual reference case backs 168.022 and 166.028. I believe the watch is really a 166.028 like mine

Agreed @Pvt-Public I'm also pretty sure it’s a 166.028 like mine. Same concentric circles dial, orange second hand and darker square tip hands.

I’m curious though what bracelet and end links are on the watch since it’s close to the one that was shown in the old Omega Ad. But not $9500 curious 😉

Edit: Jeez I should have searched that one first. Bracelet is way off lol
