Just to follow-up, I contacted Omega to ask if there were any price break discounts on Omega straps, for quantities of 10, 50, 100 or more. The answer I received is:

"Good morning, Al

Unfortunately, there is no special discount on bulk orders.

Thank you."

So I am not sure how the seller in question is selling these so low and still making money...

The auction shown earlier ended at $170+$21 for shipping. What’s retail for a CUZ007281?

Converting from CAN to USD it's about $385 US...

I am not saying that this is the case here, but often expensive leather shoes can be found at very low prices, being factory QC failures due to (very) minor leather or stitching defects. Not noticable unless you really know what to look for.

I've purchased from him. The strap I received was brand new and almost perfect, except for a tiny bit of glue near one of the lugs. I was able to rub off. They could be factory second quality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

Negative. One side will be way too long and the end isn't correct where it attaches to the clasp. You could buy an aftermarket butterfly style clasp.

This is the only way I can possibly see these being genuine. Maybe this guy has ties with whoever is making the straps for omega. Jean Rousseau makes a few straps for Omega like the snoopy Cordura strap. Whats to say their small boutique doesn't have a pile of straps laying around that didn't pass QC and get thrown to the side. Why throw em away when the flaws are minor.

If this isn't the case then there's no way this guy can sell genuine straps at those prices and make money.

Thank you for the info. After looking at deployment clasp pricing I'm good with the pin buckle. Any tips on where to buy a Omege OEM pin buckle online would be much appreciated.
