Sorry, but what is a full gold watch? Are we just talking about a gold watch? Or do you mean gold case and gold bracelet? Or do you mean gold case and dial and bracelet ? Edit, ok I see OP is talking about two tone vs gold. Full gold......it sounds pretty hardcore. "Hey man, do you think you could ever go full gold?!"........."yah bro, I could totally rock full gold"
If I had the money I would go full kit chunky yellow gold watch with all the trimmings. Bling central. And wear it, trendy or not, every day. Damn it, I might even get a gold tooth to match. But I dont have the money.
Pretty much the opposite of trendy- tiny, gold, and time only, yet I don't care Though, I have to admit- I doubt I would wear this if it were on a full, gold bracelet. That seems like it'd be just a bit too much gold for me
The fullest of golds: Crying shame that this is not mine though.... but I would totally wear it if it was. On topic: I see a resurrection in interest of solid gold pieces with customers at the dealer I’m working with. It‘s just the better buy tbh. If we take the Daytona for example: New SS Ceramic Daytonas sell now for 24-26k € depending on dial and LC. A used 18k yellow gold Daytona will cost you about the same if you find a good deal. White gold is sometimes even cheaper or on par with the SS. (We are not talking about the Blue/Green dial variations, those command a heavy premium.) The steel craze will eventually die off, but gold will always remain gold and something special. Just look at 1680/8 or 1675/8 prices compared to their steel counterparts. Cheers, Max
