Sweet jesus, one like this (or it might be this one) was for sale on here a while back. Only watch I would wear proudly in full gold. Absolutely mesmerizing.

    My only full gold

    Full house :)

My observation has been that gold dress watches like these haven’t materially changed in value over the last few years.
A very nice example of a “full gold” pink grand luxe with a very good condition bracelet sold for less than £5K.
When I first joined the forum it felt like there were more members interested and actively buying these type of watches.

I can still remember the first time a handled an omega centenary and the feeling I got when I unwrapped the package it came in.
It really was a wow moment as it’s very difficult to capture the quality of a solid gold watch in a photo.
In hand, on the wrist, they a truley special items, regardless of the fashion at the time.

I need to wear mine full gold more! And that’s what I will do now :)

    Enjoy

A few of mine. I wear em. Probably not as often as I used to ...They need to be clean, classic and understated... A9646871-B652-4B23-872F-2AC6FD44FC03.jpeg

Wow, what a watches some of you have!
My thoughts are that good designs stay alive for a long time. Here’s my not so shiny but lovely nevertheless 2872 from 1958.

Noted ... strange story. I found an article on early Longines Chrono’s . Fell in love with that dial and the 13.33z but didn’t do any searching. A few weeks later out of nowhere, I am presented with an opportunity to buy this watch. Kismet.

    Thanks for noting :)

That’s a lovely coincidence (or not..Perhaps the universe was listening. Now, Universe, about that soleil racing dial Speedy I would like to find, which won’t be as charming as Larry’s ceramic dial...)...

Love all gold watches. Nothing wrong with it. I mean if you wear it with gold chains, bracelets and a large assortment all together it might be a bit much but by itself or with one other accessory nothing wrong!
