This was the closest I could find. It’s for a small tourist/travel company in India. Though I know it’s not the same, I think identifying the creature being used in both could be helpful for identifying the business in question.

I still think it's some obscure small business that simply wanted a few logo watches for staff and/or customers. Not going to be anything noteworthy. Creature-wise I think most anyone would guess it's a bird's head with some stylized wings crudely stuck to the top of a lower case "n" or the back side of a lower case "h". My best guess is some sort of delivery or freight service. Only way to truly chase down solid leads would be to pay for an archive and see where the thing was delivered. Once the country is identified then post it on their local facebook pages and I bet within days y'all will have your answer. So...who is bothered over this enough to either buy the watch or plead with the owner/member to get the serial number and then cough up for the archive report? Not me as I would simply make up some ridiculous history story for it and be done with it 😁

It’s a nice logo, certainly stirring up a lot of passion. Since it’s apparently unclaimed maybe we should register a trademark out of it and call it “Air Cuckoo”. 😁

So because this had been dormant for too long, I thought I'd throw this in in to muddy the waters further:

Look familiar? That's for the Israeli bus company Eged, and it is a stylized letter "Aleph" from Hebrew. If we take our mystery symbol and flip it we get this:

Ok, so it's still not likely related to this at all - but I'm guessing that our looking at this as a stylized "H" is probably incorrect.

I always thought it was a stylized N. Using the form of a griffin.
I spent a good long while looking into this, like most of you, and never got anything...
What bugs me is that it looks so familiar...

This gives me an idea. I’m going to head down to the cellar and stare at the nineteenth step. If all goes well I’ll see the answer there.

I wonder how long ago was this...
If you worked for them today the most you’ll probably get is a G-SHOCK!

So it seams that S.O. Sodipo and M. Omenai received the 15yrs award in form of a watch. 🍿

This example is engraved with 'M Omenai 15yrs award'.

So they received the watch in, what, about 1975, which means they worked at the company with the logo from about 1960 or so.

Yep, that narrows it down 😉

when you google the family names Sodipo and Omenai they are both Nigerian names. This is a good direction but I am fairly sure there were no airlines with this Logo in Nigeria at that time. Nigeria as a country is full of Eagle symbols so it does not narrow it down much.
