Something I found while researching for the recent video I made on the Ploprof, on a lug-to-lug basis, the Ploprof 1200 is currently the smallest dive watch Omega makes. It comes in under the Planet Ocean 39.5mm, the PO Gen 4, well under the Seamaster Pro 300M and massively less than the Gen 3 Planet Ocean.

So for small wrists, ironically, the Ploprof is the most comfortable option you have.

Lug to lug distances
------------
Ploprof 1200: 45mm
PO 39.5mm: 45.6mm
PO Gen IV 42mm: 47.5mm
PO Gen III 43.5mm: 49mm
Seamaster Pro 300M 42mm: 49.7mm
Seamaster Pro 300M 43.5mm: 51.5mm
PO UltraDeep 45.5mm: 51.9mm

Yes, I saw your Insta reel. My small wrist fully agrees!

And the summer blue’s lug to lug is even smaller 🤯 (true to the dimensions of the vintage PloProfs)

Been known to go "Agnelli" myself. It drives my buddies crazy, making it much more enjoyable 😉

Going #agnellistyle since yesterday with the PloProf over the cuff of my hoody 😎

The design of the PloProf 1200 reminds me of the Millennium Falcon. The StarWar vibes made me fall in love with it.

When I was 8 years old, I discovered that I could draw anything that I wanted. It started with Donald Duck and went on to Michael Jordan slam dunking.

Nowadays I use it to draw during brainstorms and for explanatory visuals. This morning I decided to combine my drawing skills with watches.

It’s me behind the wheel 😎

Amazing photography buddy and it's such a cool diver! You'll be Popeye in no-time with that weight on your wrist.

I have never examined the Ploprof in hand or studied its features. What is the button at the top of the side on the case opposite the crown?

That button 'unlocks' the bezel. The bezel doesn't turn unless that is pushed down.

They are fun watches! My OB had 2 in stock not too long ago. They are WAY better looking in person, and actually wear much 'smaller' than you'd expect (see the OP here 😀). STILL, it LOOKS different enough I think I'd have a hard time pulling it off.... plus I can't get over how much it looks like the Fallout arm-thing.

It takes some guts to wear it. So all PloProf owners are self aware and confident.

This is how I gangsta walk leaning to the left, due to the weight. It’s the PloProf walk. Real story: My son joined me in doing the PloProf walk in our local supermarket. In return he would get to choose any kind of candy. His weight was his skateboard.

“True story!”

The PloProf walk

During last years Speedmaster GTG in The Netherlands between al the beautiful Speedies from all around the globe, there was someone who brought his side collection of 3 PloProfs. One vintage 600 and two modern 1200. The vintage one was much lighter than I expected, but the 1200 on sharmesh was super heavy and looked awesome. I left my arm hanging and joked that it would make me walk leaning to the left like a gangster. This was the moment that the PloProf walk was born.

Club PloProf
He saw how I fell in love with the 1200 and told me a member of the Dutch Watch Forum had one for sale. This is how I found my PloProf 1200. On the Dutch watch forum I started posting all my macro shots and cartoons. All of a sudden lots of watch enthusiasts expressed their love for the PloProf, but most of them never saw one in the steel/titanium. A few chimed in and showed theirs. One in titanium and one while he was diving. In the Netherlands Club PloProf is a thing right now.

PloProf walking avatar
After creating the PloProf walk of me and my son, I asked they guy with the PloProf side collection if he would be interested in getting his own PloProf walking avatar. After all, he was the one that made me fall for the PloProf. To my surprise his main requirement was that it had to be a pheasant walking on green grass. I looked at his current avatar and saw a pheasant standing in a grass field. Oh boy! Could I make a cartoon of a pheasant? And then make it walk like a gangster?

It took two evenings to find the way to draw a cartoon pheasant walking like a gangster leaning to the left. I showed it to him and he was super enthusiastic. Now it is the avatar of someone who is very passionate about the PloProf.

If you zoom in you can see it is a PloProf 600 with a red button on shark mesh

This thread is taking Omega Ploprof marketing to strange, new places 😂.

One of these days I'm gonna snag the summer blue version. It looks so good in person.

Has anyone swapped out the rubber for a mesh bracelet on the Summer Blue one yet? Think if any watch deserves mesh, it's this one.

The shark mesh bracelet from the prior gen Ploprof fits- I've seen some pictures of it like that floating around and there's a video of how it looks from Tim Mosso here

I think this is the way I would go.

P.S. please share more pics of your Summer blue!

Now I really have to try one on! Always loved the look in pictures but never imagined it could fit my small wrists.
