I'll take a shot.
The minute markers are misaligned relative to the Arrowheads, and the Star overlies the CONSTELLATION script.

Not having high quality pictures in order to study the watch without problem...
First thing from this far away 😁 is the star and its position. It is totally wrong imo

Method of operation*
The knob on the right side of the case is the crown. You can do manual winding in the same position. The watch is a self-winding watch, but if the hand is stationary, lightly shake the watch body in your hand and wind up the crown manually and make sure that the needle is moving. Rotate the crown clockwise by pushing it forward with your fingertips. Please wind up as slowly as possible. You can adjust the time by pulling and rotating the crown. There is no hack (second-hand stop) function.

Bit difficult to read the inscription in the case back but it looks like it is made in China. Also it should be a piepan dial. + what has been said above.

I am surprised by the Japanese, but evidently the black dial makes one blind.

Firstly, thank you for this thread as a find this very educative.

Personally what strikes me most is the constellation font and placement relative to the star. Secondly the minute markers are misaligned as noted above. Then the price...especially as the stated accuracy is +3min a day. Hovewer the case is in excellent condition as it is very sharp around the lugs and bezel.

It has the eBay authenticity guarantee. What could go wrong?
I would love to see this go through the guarantee process and be cleared- then contested. It would be a true test of the system.

This watch is being sold by "Antique Watchman", a Japanese watch consignment service.
The ebay seller is reselling it without permission, adding his own profit to the selling price of "Antique Watchman".

I'm sure you're not particularly interested, but I'll leave you with a link to "Antique Watchman".
There is a video of this watch at the link.
