Came in. I got a custom made “toasted almond” canvas with OD green stitch.

Brief review: Its thick and stiff, but Iknow it will break in. The stitching and material are very nice, it’s vintage canvas and it looks it. I’m pleased. I don’t think one has to spend this much (approx 100 usd) to get a nice canvas strap though. Customer service was excellent, delivery on time.

Next to a inexpensive canvas Barton strap:

The Barton straps are reasonably priced. Plus, they have quick release which makes they easy to change.

I have a couple leather and NATO straps from Crown and Buckle that are decent.
I'm not sure I would call them the best, but that is also somewhat subjective probably.
They have a small collection of canvas straps but I do not have any so can't attest to their quality.

Just putting it out there as an option.

I've been happy with Crown and Buckles premium NATO straps as well but it looks like they are no longer carrying canvas options 😕
