Any custom or off-the-shelf (eg: Hirsch) makers come to mind? Looking for something with the Hermes aesthetic for my Globemaster... Also, is this the same type of strap that Omega specs on options like the Seamaster 300?

 

Dang, no takers? Just copped a new light brown pebbled goat leather strap from Hodinkee, as their calf leather was out of stock in the size I was chasing. Hopefully this is the ticket...

Interesting – is he the OEM maker of the new Hodinkee goat skin straps? Just grabbed one of those last week, and it's phenomenal. Don't see this leather option very often, and some of his colors and stitching styles look very familiar... They're clearly not just sourcing JPM anymore.

 

No, he is not. The styles might look similar but there is a clear difference in quality between the two.

Yes, I would say so. Of course you need to decide for yourself, but, I would say his are better. The leather ages better with use, and hold up better. Hodinkee's straps felt too 'over the counter' for me. They can be custom ordered to fit my bony chicken zombie wrist as well. He can pretty much make anything you name...
