·@Evitzee you are right! I agree this is a nice and diverse set, and I definitely don't need another one. But, I really do enjoy these and am looking to broaden my awareness in this world. There was a time when I thought that all Speedmasters were kind of the same thing (gasp!) - I know, and I'm sorry : /
I hadn't really paid attention to the ST1 and ST2, and appreciate the call out - I especially like the one with the sub registers that are lumed.
The Snoopy 1 and 2 are on my list of curios... I am getting to the age where precious metals make more sense, but not sure if a PM Speedmaster is still my favorite watch, all things considered. Puzzling that one out in realtime...
FWIW, I wear all of these more regularly than most of my other watches, and I really enjoy each of them for different reasons.
The 1863 Sapphire sandwich was my first speedmaster, back when I thought 42mm was too large for my wrists. I wore that one like we used to wear watches - which is to say, it has a very real patina of a life lived on the wrist.
The Snoopy was love at first sight, but I didn't want to pay gray prices, and that is what got me buying a few newer Speedmasters from the OB at retail.
The White Dial and Paris Chronoscope were on my list anyways, and they got me to the Snoopy. I lost someone very close in 2024 with a French connection - and had planned to buy that Chronoscope while in Paris, but didn't get the opportunity, so ended up getting it just after from the local OB.
I was on the fence with the new Reverse Panda, but am happy to have it, and that is the watch that got me the 321. Again these both wear differently from any others in the set and I really am enjoying them.
A close friend, and the person most responsible for getting me interested in luxury watches as an adult sold me his Speedy Reduced Mk40 Annual Calendar many years ago - as he was exciting the hobby. I am holding it for my son, who is in love with it. The other Schumacher are awesome pops of color, and have a vintage (light and not very expensive) feel. The red was my first, followed quickly by the yellow, then the white and black checkered flags. A blue one would finish the set (kind of - assuming you don't need a Cart and non-cart) - but I'm a little less interested in those for some reason.
EDIT: And of course the TinTin. Perhaps my favorite in this set. Love the story, and love the dial. The first one I considered buying was at Watches and Wonders in Las Vegas several years back, but thought $24k w/o box or papers was steep. When prices fell to 4-figures, for a like new example, I could no longer refuse.
