it appears that 321s being in limited supply (plus other speedies), collectors like me are still holding on to these treasures.
thus, seldom we will see few units up in the market recently.
Yes indeed @Screwbacks.👍 Maybe the title question of this thread needs to be: WHEN ARE YOU PLANNING TO SELL YOUR VINTAGE SPEEDMASTERS? 😁

Not all at once I hope!😲

It looks like that to me, Speedmaster is a buisness for you. How can I earn the most money ...
For me Omega is culture and history, that is the difference!

You have misunderstood - I think you need to look at the @nonuffinkbloke post in the context of all of his previous posts. Selling Speedmaster watches is not his "business"....

Very true! @GordonL 👍 If it were, I would be in very dodgy position with regard to available stock.
My entire stock of vintage Omega Speedmasters are kept in here.😁
Additionally if it were my business, I would make sure I did not contribute such large quantities of complete and utter bollocks to this forum as I do at the moment.😟 I come on to this forum to look, learn and enjoy the splendid company.😀

Actually, despite the title of this thread, I can't remember a time when there were so many pre-moon Speedmasters for sale on the Forum here. Heaps of them are popping up on ebay too. But they don't seem to be selling.

Could this be a signal that the market is cooling? Reminds me of corrections in the London property market when the first thing you notice is that it takes much longer to sell a house. It is only much later that anyone acknowledges that prices have fallen.

Hi All,

Just a quick summary on Speedmaster listings in the private watch sales section on OF.

March 2018 was a month for 105.012-66CB (x3) and 145.022-69/DO90 (x4) as where April 2018 it was 105.003-65 (x3) and 145.022-71 (x3)

Except for January 2018 there have been more watches listed each month compared to previous year hence the change to the thread title.

145.012
Produced in 1967-1969
The last of the calibre 321 speedmasters.

1969 , then is the Story of the "real" Speedmaster over ! (for me) All other watches are "replicas" for business interest.

Well if it helps, I'm in "vintage Omega spending mode" but that means "Sub £2k budget, I'm a cheapskate mode".

Dude if you want to be snobby about it, it could be argued that the watch died when they stuck those funny blobs of metal between the pushers and ruined the purity of the straight lug case. I don’t personally think that but it is as valid an arbitrary cut off as yours for what is a ‘real’ Speedmaster.

I am no not angry, it's my opinion, I live in a free country with freedom of expression!
If you take the example from the US car industry - for example Shelby Cobra - how is it there?

You might get one for a couple of grand, but it won't have an engine!😕

AAAAAAHHHHHG!!!😲 That's the 105.012 you're talking about @padders! 😲 D'you mean the first watch on the Moon was a 'fakkin' replica with funny blobs of metal?😲 I like my "blobs of metal" and "ruined purity"! I particularly like them on a furry background!😟
